Is there one? Since they declared Pluto wasn't a planet, I don't know if there is another one

There's only 8 planets now. They've officially declared that Pluto is much too small to be considered a planet. So if your teacher asked you this it's a trick question.

There isn't a 9th planet from the sun anymore, at least not in our solar system. The next closet planet to our solar system orbits a star called Epsilon Eridani.

Pluto was demoted as a planet. We only have 8 classical planets now. Pluto is a minor planet.

Pluto would be it, but Pluto isn't a planet anymore so there isn't a nineth planet from the sun. Sorry

There are (according to QI) around 30,000 planets in our solar system. And since Pluto ain't a planet anymore, I've no idea.
