There is no difference, just the fact that one is one color and the other is another one. But if you put them together there is not really any difference, just that the two colors have become one.

If you are speaking in terms of light white is the combination of all the colors of the light spectrum and black is the absence of all light. If you are refering to color then black and white are pigments. Black is a carbon base and white is titanium oxide.
