Make sure it has all its shots up to date, you will be asked on the way out. Are you sure Fluffy wants to go? Pet cats don't last long here in Mexico, too many dogs in packs, don't let it outside. And no, we don't eat cats here, not enough meat and its stringy. Be careful and have fun.

Not sure if its the same in the US but in the UK cats need to be kept in a quarrantine for 6 months to be sure not to spread potential rabies. Dont know about fish though.
