I have seen so much true outright hatred directed at so many groups, based on:
race, religion (or lack of it), sexual orientation, nationality etc.

yes... its amazing how much ignorance is out there. What's even more amazing is that people are content with being so ignorant.

Yeah this site sucks now.. every day its some question mostly about black people.
I never realised just how hate filled and truly wicked some people are... what is worst is that it is accepted as ok by a lot of the participants on this website as they themselves never have any hatred directed towards them.. it is also accepted by Yahoo answers as they very rarely delete such questions.
I wish there was an alternative to Yahoo answers which was better moderated....

No, i just move on to the hair section because I'm a hairstylist. I love Yahoo Answers, but it does seem disturbing and upsetting to watch people put other people down because of something that which is out of their control such as race, nationality, etc. I don't think it would kill someone to say something nice every once in a while. :)

Yep, its time to take a break with all the racial hatred; people discounting other people's religious beliefs, the sexual questions, etc. I'm so tired of it.

yes as it can get too much. This sould be somewhere that people can spend time answering questions etc and asking too. Why people need o abuse this I do not know. Today I have seen already 6-7 postings either with abusive content, hate or pornographic links. Its uncalled for.

No, I have never felt the urge to quit SO FAR. I usually can ignore the stupidity with hating on different types of people and name calling. It's childish!

Yes I have done that in the past, but now I usually just ignore ignorant questions. Many people hide behing their computers and spew things they would never say in public, that is just the nature of the beast.

I switch to food and drink questions when I start to think society is disgusting based on the posts in society and culture... Food is easier- less controversy over turkey than god.

typically i answer questions mostly on pregnancy and im just amazed how rude people can be! I dont understand why these people feel the need to make people feel stupid for some honest questions that they have---expecially when the answerer is wrong!

Yeah i hate how people r so mean to people they don't even know online. But we got to accept how mean the world is. But i'm not here on answers that much, it's pretty much boring. No offense to anyone reading but how do you get 500000 points, r people on answers all day or sumthin' i only got hundred sumthin.
