new production company looking for sponsors, actors, cameramen, productions staff. Very hard to find with out funding

Try craigslist and look in Michigan. It has an actors/performers section.

You get what you pay for. If you can't compensate your people, then you'll have to make do with the folks who are willing to work for free.
Having said that, there are a LOT of people out there who just want the experience, and will help you. Place ads in local papers, or at local universities (acting students LOVE to get on-camera experience), etc. If you can even offer them a DVD copy of the finished product, it would be something. On days when you shoot, provide lunch (cold cuts for sandwiches, pizzas, etc.); you'll have no trouble getting a crew together.

Definitely try Craig's List. . .and try local University's. I'm in Michigan and we have a University up here. . .post something in the Art Department or the University newspaper. Or. . .even in the local paper or any Art Organization in the surrounding cities where you are shooting/looking for talent.
Where in MI? My husband has a Film Degree. . .does camera work, graphics, editing. . .hmmmm. If it's in the Upper Peninsula he may be interested in helping you out. . .I may be able to, as well.

Advertise that you are looking for actors, acting students, stage-hands, costume staff, box-office and and anyone interested in theatre and lots of spare-time!

I would post all the information on www.craigslist.org. You can post your project and the location it is in and actors can find you or you can search for people in your area.
