If you are currently living in the U.S., you will find Canada to be much more liberal. Even though the Conservative party is in power, this is kind of an anomaly and what passes for Conservative in Canada is more like your conservative Democrats than your conservative Republicans (although there are some with those political leanings to - especially in Alberta.) In addition to the Liberal Party, which is currently in opposition, there is the left-leaning Bloc Quebecois and the left-leaning New Democratic parties, both with representation in parliament. Recent polls show the Green Party of Canada garnering about 10% support. Canada was opposed to the war in Iraq, has legalized gay marriage, has universal health care and is SLOWLY gaining some environmental conscience. Screaming, however, is not well-supported!

Better than living with a sinking ship full of rednecks with itchy trigger fingers and at least you wouldn't be in the crosshairs of every Muslim terrorist on the planet because of decades of misguided foreign policy.

Unless you think we will eventually "smoke" all of the "evildoers" out of their "holes" and "get 'em runnin'" and peace will prevail and everyone will thank "'merica" for being so brave.

Please don't move to the US. Screaming liberals are a pain in the neck everywhere. Maybe you should move to Iran.
