I am trying to connect my xbox 360 to Xbox live to join but Im having problems and I dont understand all the technical words and stuff.
by the way I am using Bulldog broadband!
I plugged the xbox 360 internet wire into the back of the xbox and into the back of my computer.
I tried to connect to xbox live on my xbox and it said it cant connect.
So I troubleshoot and it says the network adapter is wired but it stops at the IP address. I know what an IP address is but i dont know how to solve the problem.

You do not connect the 360 to your computer, you must either connect it directly to the internet router given by Bulldog(This means what you connect to your computer you connect the the XBOX 360 instead). To have both your computer and the 360 connected you have to use a router that will split your connect. Look up Linksys or NetGear for common routers to do the job.
Connecting to your computer will not allow the correct connection to be made sadly.

I sometimes have this trouble too. If you run the connection test 3 or 4 times, eventually it will pass each test. Hopefully that`s all it is. I have lots of connection problems with 360 live, I believe its a common problem.

u can conect ur 360 directly 2 ur hub and it shud wrk.
