I'm looking for something that stains plastic (like as in plastic sandwich containers) on contact with no rubbing or wait periods. I've been told turmeric powder mixed with water might work. Is this true? If not, can you give any other options? Also, will I be able to remove the stain afterwards with bleach or something else? This is for a project, so color/texture/usability of the container afterwards does not matter.

If you are not going to use the containers for food storage afterwards, you can get quite a choice of colors in paint that is made specifically for plastic.

Kryon, I believe is the manufacturer. The special paint adheres better to plastic than your average paint. It somes in spray cans, and as I said, in a variety of colors.... use some stencils, and you can achieve some pretty good artwork, hehehe.

Most of the home supply, and hardware stores now carry this paint. Just ask a store clerk about it, and they can take you right to it.

Have Fun!
