Omg....Hi....finally another true AFI fan....love that song...
there is no reason to stop listening to AFI...but if u must get those great songs out of ur head...try...to focus on something else..like Jade or DAvey......

It's killing time again.
Put on your face and let's pretend,
these killing lights won't kill us all again.

Well if you love music so much, is having it stuck in your head really such a bad thing? (esp if its AFI...lol...). I am sure that it is not impeding on your concentration too much in school because as you said you always have songs stuck in your head and somehow you found the ability to concentrate and ask this question...Maybe it's just the material that you are learning about is not that interesting to you and that you are becoming easily distracted because of that. As for the labels, don't worry about what other people think or say. If they are that shallow and take you that seriously based on your style and/or your choice in music, their opinions are obviously worthless and do not deserve any more thought. Good luck and take care:)

Good songs have these little tentacles on them and they're very tricky to "unstick". You might have considered trying to try peanut butter. Rub about a teaspoon on the caught subject and therapeutic massage it in. The tune will then get hungry and break away to move have a snack. If it is an Elvis tune you may also need to combine the Peanut Butter with a little banana too.

It's because your mind isn't stimulated in anyother way and that is making up for it by singing a tune! Try doing something else like reading.....otherwise you just love catchy tunes and it doesn't mean anything is wrong with ya! Have fun....could be worse it could be a Barney song or a commercial jingle...

properly songs have those little tentacles on them and that they are very complicated to "unstick". this is beneficial to attempt peanut butter. Rub a pair of teaspoon on the caught section and rub down it in. The music will then get hungry and smash unfastened to pass have a snack. regardless of if this is an Elvis music this is beneficial to combine the Peanut Butter with a splash banana too.

Usually, I'll get a song stuck in my head if I don't listen to it all the way through. If that happens, I'll listen to the song all the way through one time and that almost always gets it out.

Just sing it over and over again as loud as you can. Getting a song stuck in your head is like a itch in your mind, you have to scratch it.

You have to sing the song from beginning to end and that normally gets it out of your head...or distract yourself into doing something else...you may want to try watching a movie or something...physical activity usually get's my mind focused on the physical act that is being acted upon....or change up the song..this should help you though to get your song out of your head. (Although...I don't know why you'd want Davey out of your head...love him)

Oh. [infamous davey "oh"]
Five A.M. on the bathroom floor from the night before.
Do you find me dreadful?
What a shame such a sad disgrace,
Such a pretty face,
But she's not regretful.

Am I beautiful?
Am I useable?

It's killing time again.
Put on your face and let's pretend,
These killing lights won't kill us all again.

Three A.M. on the city street,
When the air is sweet,
I've had my mouthful.
But it seems that outside the screen
Such a pretty face often will look dreadful.

Am I beautiful?
Am I useable?

It's killing time again.
Put on your face and let's pretend,
These killing lights won't kill us all again.

It's killing time again.
Cover your face and we'll pretend,
These killing lights can't kill us all again.

You see, they always remember.
They never forget a face.

When they cut cut cut cut cut cut cut you up,
Cut cut cut cut cut they remember.

Cut cut cut cut cut cut cut you up.
Cut you uppppppppp.

It's killing time again.
Put on your face and let's pretend,
These killing lights won't kill us all again.

It's killing time again.
Cover your face and we'll pretend,
These killing lights can't kill us all again.

All again.
All again.
It's time again.
It's killing time...

Don't blame the music for your inability to concentrate on your school work. It is you who is responsible for your thoughts and what you are thinking. If you don't believe it ask yourself "if I don't control my thoughts who does?" The message is clear. You are the person who is responsible for what you think. When you understand this you can choose to think differently about anything-if you decide to do so. Good luck.

You can't. I still have wait and bleed by Slipknot in my head for the last six years!!!!!!!!!!!!

Slipknot
Wait And Bleed

I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I wait and bleed

I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I wait and bleed

GOODBYE!!

I wipe it off the tile, the light is brighter this time
Everything is 3-D blasphemy
My eyes are red and gold, the hair is standing straight up
This is not the way I pictured me
I can't control my shakes!
How the hell did I get here?
Something about this, so very wrong
I have to laugh out loud, I wish I didn't like this
Is it a dream or a memory?

I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I wait and bleed

GET OUTTA MY HEAD 'CAUSE I DON'T NEED THIS!
Why didn't I see this?
I'm a victim--Manchurian Candidate
I-HAVE-SINNED-BY-JUST
Makin' my mind up and takin' your breath away

I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I wait and bleed

I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I WAIT AND BLEED!!!

GOODBYE!!!!!!!

You haven't learned a thing
I haven't changed a thing
The flesh was in my bones
The pain is always free

You haven't learned a thing
I haven't changed a thing
The flesh was in my bones
The pain is always free

I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I wait and bleed

I've felt the hate rise up in me
Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves
I wander out where you can't see
Inside my shell I wait and bleed

AND IT WAITS FOR YOU!!!!!
