Why would you want to renu soo early? Seems a little strange to renew so soon after only 5 years of marriage. But, to each his or her own. If you both want to or feel some need to, then by all means go for it. I've never heard of it being bad luck to renew before 5 years. I think most people would be concerned about cheapening the act of renewal. I mean, what will you do in 10 or 20 years? How do you top it if you've already renewed after only 5 years? Points to ponder. Good luck.

I do not know if it is bad luck but why would you want to? I have been married almost 14 years and have never felt the need to renew my vows. That is what you were saying right? Maybe on our 40th anniversary or something so my kids can participate since they were not there the first time.

I think renewing your bows every day would be great. You bow to him and he bows to you.
Sorry......just kidding......I truly can not see how renewing your vows as often as you like could ever be bad luck. If will always bring you back together so is always a good thing. Regardless of how often or when.

I doubt it. Some couples will renew their vows, if they have been through a rough time and on the verge of divorce, then they work things out and feel like they should get married all over again, to start things new, in a way.

I don't think so. I think it makes your commitment stronger. Me and my husband have been thinking about doing that this year and it will only be year 4. We didn't have an actual wedding we just got married. Now we want the whole wedding thing.
