I would take the Chemistry teaching position at Yale, will pay much better than the other job.

Well, the one job is obviously more prestigious. Are you looking to advance your career or serve the community? There are other ways to 'give back' without being impoverished yourself, though. You could volunteer at the rec center.

Which one really depends on you .......the Rec Center will help alot of kids.....but YALE will look great on a resume.....Think of what you really want to do in life!

Spreading knowledge to others is a very respectable job. If you teach Chemistry you are bettering society through "advancing it."
If you teach English you are keeping it at a standstill. Personally I would believe you know which one you want to do, as intelligent as you are.
