During the scene when Lloyd is dropping off the last of the party guests, there is a radio anouncer talking about 3 hours of commercial free rock and then they play like a two second bit of a song. It was a heavy metal/hard rock song...anybody know the name of that song?

Could it be "One Big Rush" by Joe Satriani? I watched that bit of the movie and didn't recognize the song - there were no lyrics to prompt a memory. There's a link to the soundtrack at Amazon below - listen to a clip. It sounds a lot like it.

Roxy music's "2HB" (To Humphrey Bogart) has the line "here is staring at you, toddler" as part of the lyrics. Bryan Ferry's (of Roxy music) music, "the only Face", has clips of Greta Garbo saying "i choose for to be on my own" and "one in each of those unusual guy" (from Grand motel). i'm specific there are greater, yet those are the only 2 i can think of of appropriate now.
