I have. That is an old Jewish saying, "As long as you can feel the pain, you know you're alive". Sometimes I work out so hard I almost pass out.

I'm not emo!, but yeah, sometimes I do something that I don't like in order to feel pain, because that is the only thing I can feel.

i self harmed for a few years not for the reason you stated but because i felt incontrol when i done it...in the end i ended up with having 3 years of therapy....i would never do it again...i dont need physical pain to know that i still feel pain and emotions

Nope. Dragon has been hurt enough so that she does not need any self-inflicted hurt. She knows that she is able to feel without doing that.

No. If I feel numb inside, then I just deal with it. It doesn't make me think "Oh God, I have to make sure I am still able to feel." I'll feel bad some other time.

I don't need to inflict my own pain, because I have my own demons to deal with and...pain is a part of life and I will feel it in the way it was meant to be.
