In our society today people usually favor one's to be humble . They cant really take positive criticism or compliments too well.. or they have it where (like myself) they feel that their worst enemy is themselves.

So to see someone who actually has confidence...is going above and beyond and seen as arrogance.

However..there is truly arrogance out there. Like "Im so pretty i could screw myself if i could" ...just watch out ...dont try to go that far on the scale. ^^

Because there is a very fine line between the two and it is easy to step over and not realize you're being arrogant or vice verso you might have the best intentions and that other person might take it as arrogance. They really are kind of similar and it is easy to confuse the two.

i disagree. confidence is a positive attribute for a human being to possess. arrogance, is when a person flaunts their behaviour by acting in a way that demeans others or by means of showing disregard to other people. just because a person is confident doesn't make that person to be a bad person. other than it shows they have self-asteem and of whom are not anxious or shy people. being confident emphasises one's happiness and content without allowing it to affect other people
