i see that the ram chips can be removed and that you can get larger ram chips, but how do i fing ones that i know will work with my model?? PS. is this a good model? got it for christmas

You've got a useful amount of RAM already, but go online to www.crucial.com for a free rundown of your specific setup and recommendations about RAM.

PS nice machine, I've never had any problems with Acer personally. Wish someone would give me one!

My guess is that you can, but why would you? Most desktops have more than enough w/ 512mb. What kind of programs are you running? I think anythimg more than what you have would be overkill, unless you are doing some serious gaming or running some memory heavy programs all at once.

yes 1014MB of ram is more then enought to run windows and games and software like photoshop and havier for system
(check if its DDR OR DDR2, DDR3(DDR 2 and 3 IS much Better Then DDR or SDRAM) http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php check ur ram and pc here.
