I can't install anything in my computer. It says that I don't have sufficient privileges to do so. There is no administrator's account neither. It's just one account and I still cannot install or download anything. Where do you think it's the problem?

Are you on a computer at work? Or on your parent's computer? It sounds as if the administrator (owner of the computer, so to say) has setup a "limited" account, which means you won't be able to make any major changes to the computer or install anything. This is to protect the computer from serious data loss, damage, or corruption.

The only way around this is to gain access to the main Administrator account and change your limited account to another administrator account. OR, ask your administrator (Tech guy at work or your parents) to install the program for you or for permission to be granted administrator status, even if only temporarily.

If however you are on your own computer at home, and if you know the Administrator password (it's either blank or "Admin" by default), then you can download the following software program that will "unhide" the Administrator account at the Windows logon screen:

Simply tick the check box and click apply. Then reboot your computer and you will be able to logon under that account and grant your regular account Administrator privaledges via the Control Panel:

Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > click your account > Change account type.

There is another account and you just dont know it. Unless there is a operating system problem... You are using a limited account, and an adminstrator account can not be deleted, windows will not let you.. go to control panel and then user accounts and check there for admin controls..
