OK, I am really confused. I have heard many of you stating that you have 'seen' Barbosa 'in the wings' at the end of the Black Pearl (after his 'death'). WHERE is he - EXACTLY, which scene and where is he standing? For the life of me, I cannot see him. I was wondering HOW he comes back in the second film.

So there is no 'sighting' of him at the end of the first movie? I hope so, because I can't see him anywhere. He just appeared in the second movie.

In he second POC film, the crew visits the voodoo queen. After Jack gives her the monkey as payment, I believe spivey looks off into the next room, where the queen has released the monkey, and the monkey is perched at the end of the bed over a pair of boots. That's all you can see of the person, but at the end of the film, the crew is back at the queen's house and Barbosa appears.

ok, so there is no sight of Barbossa at the end of the first movie (or at least after he appears to bed dead). but, in the second movie (dead man's chest), when the crew (including capt. jack and will) go to visit tia dalma for the first time, there is a shot of the monkey (jack) running to a back room and sitting on top of something. He goes and sits on some boots which definately appear to be capt. Barbossa's boots, and then we find out he's alive in the end. ;)
hope i could help!
