When I met my fiance for the first time and we lived alone together, no one around us, and we were living on the coast about 5 minutes from the ocean. We had no money and our living situation sucked, but it was great.

Moments of triumph and of being in love.
The quiet contentment of good times with family, or a lazy, quiet afternoon spent reading a book.
Exciting times with friends. Adventures and travel. Nights out on the town. Sex. Good music and good booze.
Growing up and feeling more mature.
Everyday life - safer, more prosperous and healthier than even the kings of England hundreds of years ago. Really, did they have vaccines, airplanes, the internet?
Dreaming.

Giving birth to all five of my kids, finding out I was pregnant, getting engaged, getting married, telling my mother in law off after years of her making my hubby and me feel like crap, getting my first tattoo, graduating from high school because it meant I didn't have to see any of those people ever again and getting a house (even if it's a fixer upper)....
