Most of us "Katrina Victims" never made it to the evening news. We're still where we were before the storm. If you are referring to the idiots in New Orleans... They're victims of their own stupidity and greed and not the storm. They were on the western side of the storm, meaning they didn't get that much wind and rain. The damage they suffered was of their own doing. Blame it on the mayor and the governor. You're probably not aware but whole cities were wiped from the map. Gone. And not because of the levees, but due to sheer wind and rain.

Not a Katrina victim but I know a lot of them came to Destin, Floirda. I know at one post we had over 150 elementry students in my sons school. You can find a few remaining victims that have made new homes here and rebuilt a new life.
