I was told that they see shadows when first born and will start to actually see after six weeks.

Unless born blind babies can see at birth but only a limited distance. Their eyesight grows rapidly after the first couple of days.

You're right, they can only see shadows at first and then they start distinguishing black and white patterns and bright colors. With my baby, I think it was only around 2 months old that he started noticing things around him. But I also read that their vision fully develops much later, so they don't really see things the way we do. Just be happy they smile when they see you; that means they recognize your face.

They really can only see the distance of around 12 inches is what I have heard, but either way yes a babies vision is very limited at birth but their hearing is good so there still is voice recognition.

All they can see is shapes and colors, they can't make out anything. They can tell who their parents are by the sound of their voice and the shape of their body. That is why when a stranger comes in the room, some babies start crying.

I think a baby would see a little bit after all babies are human

Yes, babies can see at birth, but then the doctors put salve in their eyes right away and it blurs their vision until the salve wears off.

Babies can see perfectly fine even before they are born. They can only see objects close to them, however.

they onlysee blurd colors as as months go by it will become clearer and clearer.... it needs to be developed by taking milk
