I think some people's first instinct is to try to embarrass you for being well-off. Personally, I like to think about making lots of money, but I'm not really keen on the idea of working during most of my waking hours. I'm sure you have spent money on education and have worked very hard to get where you are today, wherever that is. I work for beans at a non-profit, and I manage very well on my chump change. I never feel like I have to get more stuff in order to "keep up", but then, I'm in no rush for Doomsday.
Do you ever think about the fact that the wages you get are essentially payment for your time, your life? There is really nothing that money can buy that's worth more than my leisure, the time I spend pursuing my own passions and desires. My bills are paid, I have no debt, and I'm pretty happy with the role I play in the community.
You may just be greedy and have a life steeped in unbridled avarice, but perhaps you occasionally reflect on why you will never have enough money and stuff. If so, consider finding ways to invest in yourself other than buying a new car. Enrich your life and community, instead of just your bank account. You are in a rare position to improve the lives of people around you, because even if you balk at donating actual money, you can afford to take a break from work and simply donate time. You don't need more money, you need more security; that comes from the people around you, from the love you share, from knowing you have a unconditional place in the world.

completely predictable. Obama became anointed candidate via the click somewhat a whilst in the past. you could nonetheless no longer somewhat blame him for conceitedness because of the fact the gadget seems geared to instruct marginal front-runners into overwhelming favorites and, then, winners. What i'm questioning is why there ever became a gadget of so-called super delegates created in the event that they're predicted to fall into line like sturdy military privates in the back of the so-called will of the individuals, i.e. that Obama has piled up a "mind-blowing" 2 or 3 % margin in those kinds of primaries. it somewhat is strictly certainly one of those neck and neck and race the place the "superdelegates' could be exercising their self sufficient reasoning - the meant information that have been given them superdelegate status - extremely than appearing like a stampeding herd of buffaloes. This would not and could no longer unavoidably advise that they could help Hillary yet they could pause and mirror extremely than basically persist with the team, especially whilst that crowd has no longer given Obama an tremendously magnificent lead in any respect.

You can never make enough money if you don't define for yourself what "enough money" is. This is because human desire is insatiable and can never have enough with an "enough" definition and discipline.
A really good book on this topic are "Your Money or Your Life" by Dominquez.
As for making more money, that is usually tied to taking on more risk, more responsibility and adding more value to some group of people (customers) who have money to spend. Have you fully inventoried what value you can add and are you adding all the value you can? Are you taking as much reasonable risk and responsibility as you can? Good books on this topic are, "Multiple Streams of Income" by Allen and "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Kiyosaki.
Good luck and be in touch if you want to talk more about this topic if you like, as I have been blessed to double my income almost every 5 years my entire career. I could make more money but I do make enough, I think. :-)

At the $150k mark, you are making more than 3x the national average income. Sorry, for no sympathy that you are struggling to do with what more than what 3/4 of the country would dream about having.
But here is 1 surefire bet for more money: Stop smoking (as your avatar suggests). It will save you a ton on life insurance, health insurance & on what you dont spend on the cigarettes. And cut down on your cell phone plan while you are at it. Also, try to live below your means.

First off, congratulations on finding a lucrative career and earning what many people consider to be a very significant salary.
Secondly, re-examine your life and figure out why else you are unhappy. With that much money, if happiness has still eluded you, there is something else wrong.

Yeah, I got an idea for you. Watch a video on Africa where the famine is going on. Or look at how some people are on welfare. Maybe talking to people that make only $20000/year and you will know how lucky you are. So shut the hell up and move on.

Sounds like you need to scale back your lifestyle. Anyone should be able to live on that. Just because you make that much doesn't mean that you HAVE to have a $60,000 car, or a $500,000 home, and a lot of expensive toys. My husband makes $60,000 and I just recently went back to work after our son was born 2 years ago and we manage just fine.
