Scissors, nail file, knife, tweezers and toothpick. I want to take the knife off. How can I take it apart? If you have a website with pictures and/or instructions, that would help. Thanks alot.

MOST knives are not made to be taken apart by the consumer. This sounds like a Swiss army knock off. You would have to pry off the covers and then drill out the brass pins holding together. Be VERY careful of the springs that are in the knife. If you manage to remove the blade you will need a spacer to take its place to keep the whole thing tight other wise it will have problems and not be safe.

After you put it back together you will need replacement brass pins and a way to insert them in, flatten the ends and to file/buff them down before gluing the covers back on the handle.

If you are just trying to remove the blade and do not need the blade I would find a place to snap the blade off completely (between two bricks on your house?). that eliminates the need to take the knife apart and the almost impossible task of rebuilding it.
Hope this helps- Julie (and a very grouchy brother who was woken up for help on this one).

If it's the main blade that you are trying to break down and remove you would have to drill the main pivot pin in the knife and reset it with another pin..Which would bascically destroy the knife as a whole. If you are not interested in keeping the pocket knife handle you can take a drill to hinge pin and drill it out. I don't think you will find many instructions on this as the pocket knife blade is not good for much unless it is in the knife. You cannot turn a pocket knife blade into a fixed handle knife blade without a lot of adjustments.
