I bought him a few days ago. My ghost shrimp and fish seem to be eating fine, but he chooses not to eat. This is his second day not eating. I feed him flakes. My betta fish ate it and is ok with it since I read they generally don't like flakes. So I thought my frog would like them too. All my fish like it.

I have ADFs, I have never fed them flakes. Remeber, a young ADF can see its food but, they go by smell to feed, older ADFs can't see their food as their eyes are now further appart. So, your frog might not be smelling the food you provide it. Try frozen blood worms, brine shrimp or salmon. I give mine thawed blood worms. They have never liked freeze dried. I just recently read an article, that it would be better to give them salmon, as blood worms are a bit too high in fat and cholesterol for them. If you buy a piece of salmon, cut it in to small pieces and freeze them, then you can can just provide them with a small piece when you need to feed them. Plus you should only feed them about once every 2 or 3 days. So far my frogs have no problem with only eating on Tuesdays and Fridays. Good luck, if you have any questions contact me, I'll be glad to help.

Sometimes ADFs have a hard time eating regular flake fish food. They don't necessarily realize that flakes are food, and they don't see very well.
Try offering some thawed bloodworms. Put them right in front of his face so he knows they're there.
He'll settle in soon, just keep him eating and make sure the ammonia is at 0. ADFs are sensitive to water quality.

i could say no they are to small to have them and mine when I had them lived approximately 5 years with this foodstuff plan i could feed him freeze dried bloodworms and freeze dried shrimp and that i could feed him the bloodworms two times an afternoon at evening and morning no longer very lots however and the shrimp in straightforward terms some as quickly as a week they are sort of a snack and that i think you know each thing else like housing, lights, temp, filtration and in case you do no longer ask yet another question and that i would be happy to respond to
