You might want to check with a fertility specialist. I've heard many women needing to go to one because they could not get pregnant.
I've also heard women getting pregnant as soon as they got off of the shot.

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

Check with your doctor. The shot can take awhile to have the affects wear off.
One thing 3 of my friends swear by, and it's going to sound odd: The South Beach Diet!
One of my friends had been trying for 2 years. They decided to give up on trying until she lost some weitht. She went on South Beach and within 2 months she was pregnant.
One of my friends called me last night. They have been together for 10 years and never used protection so assumed they could not have children. She went on South Beach to get ready for a wedding she was in and a cruise in January. Because in the book it says that there is a muh better chance of pregnancy they were actually careful (for the first time in 10 years), when she called me last night she said she was 7 weeks!
They were actually going to go and see a specialist after their cruise at the beginning on Febuary because they wanted children so bad!
Good luck!

You should go to the doctor and jus get a check up and have he/she check it out just to be on the safe side. But I have heard that it takes a bit to get pregnant after the shot. Keep trying! I bet when you least expect it you will be!!
