Fry's has a Compaq laptop computer on sale for $399 with the following features:
-Intel Celeron M 430 Processor
-512MB DDR2 System Memory
-Super Multi 8x DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer
-Microsoft Windows XP Home

It will be used primarily for surfing the web, webcamera with Messenger, etc.

Good deal or not?

no mention of harddrive size but 512mb is decent DVD burner is a bonus for $400 buy it
