Probably absolutely nothing is wrong with her. I wouldn't rush to the hospital. A call to the doctor would be enough most likely.
It's normal for breastfed babies to begin to skip days and not have BM's every day after about 6 weeks or so. This is NOT because they are constipated or having any problems. It is because the breastmilk is so well digested that they have very little waste. They may only poop once a week and that can be totally normal for that baby. (Just look out as it'll probably be a BIG one!) As long as she is not having hard, dry, formed bowel movements, it is NOT a problem. Also, it is very rare for an exclusively breastfed baby to get constipated since breastmilk is a natural laxative.

TRY THIS!!!!
I ahd the same problem with my daughter. My friend told me to bring her to her chiropractor and he would show me a massage to do that will make her poop in 12 to 24 hours.
If she is laying in front of you upright.
approximatelly in the middle from her hip bone to her belly button on her left side put one index finger.
Approx in the middle from her right shoulder to her neck put 2 fingers. By the way you will have to undo the left side of her diapper.
You want to apply very little pressure and massage in small circular motions. I know it sound crazzy.
The chiropractor said that these 2 pressure points will help to open up the part of her intestine that is causing the constipation. You can do it for as long as you want and as frequently as you want. If she is crying that is okay...that means that she is really constipated! you actually want to massage until she stops crying or give it a 10 min brake and start again. I work great for my daughter!! I was so amazed!! I had my doubts but I figured at that point I would try anything before giving her meds for it. Call some chiropractors and ask them about it, and see if you can bring her in for them to show you if you are unsure to do it yourself
hope this helps!!

Nope, breastfed babies often only poop ever 3-7days. It is perfectly normal and there is nothing wrong with her.
Please leave her be. The hospital will tell you the same thing.
"Even if a baby is strictly breast-fed, the frequency of stooling varies among infants. While a frequent stool is most common, babies may stool only one time every other day and still be completely normal. Constipation in fact refers not only to the frequency of stools, but also to the consistency. Therefore, if an infant poops every third day but it comes out soft, this would not be considered constipation, and no therapy is indicated. In fact, at 3-6 weeks of age, breast-fed babies may only have one stool a week. This is because breast milk leaves very little waste in the intestines to be passed. Again, if the stool, when passed, is not hard, this is completely normal. In general, it is almost impossible for strictly breast-fed babies to become constipated. "

Read that last sentence again:
"In general, it is almost impossible for strictly breast-fed babies to become constipated."

IT'S OK!!! Some breastfed babies only poop once or twice a week, this is totally normal. The reason is because breastmilk is absorbed by their systems so much better. As long as she doesn't have a fever, or seem like she is in pain, you don't have to worry or take her to the doctor

I wouldn't be too concerned at this point. Is she fussy, like her stomach hurts. My daughter's baby had surgery at 2 months, just out patient surgery but the doctor told he might get a little constipated from the pain medication after she brought him home. He told her to give him apple juice diluted with water and it worked. She still gives it to him if he seems gassy and has not had a bowel movement for a while. It alway makes him go. You don't have to get baby apple juice, but get natural apple juice, without all the sugar. Hope this helps, with a new baby, there is always something to worry about, but as long as the new mother uses her instincts, that's all it takes. Mothers know their babies best.

If she isn't in pain, and is otherwise appearing normal then there is no reason to backlog an ER with this kind of thing.
Babies are not set on timers to poop X amount of times a day. They can go days without pooping and be fine.

Its ok. my daughter is 6 weeks and i was so worried about her not pooping that i took her to the hospital and they said its ok. They said some babies only go once a week, its different with each child. And they said that the breastmilk isnt that filling enough to make them go everyday, it jus depends.

sometimes they need a little help, like pulling their legs up to their chest knees bent, so they can push, and massaging a warm wash rag on their anus, will help. Also my pediatrician said to add 1 tsp of karo syrup every other bottle to help him go. Hes been doing that since my son was 2 months, and it works. BUT, if shes not in pain, like she needs to go, then let her go on her own.
