Never go more than 2-3 days after an interview without contacting the company. This shows them that you are really interested in the job. A lot of companies use this tactic to weed out people that they think will have a poor work ethic or call in a lot.

It could mean that they are still interviewing. give them a call to let them you were just following up on your interview.
could also mean that since this is the holiday time some people are taking time off or unavailable so they may not get back to you until after the new year. this is sometimes a slow period for HR in terms of hiring/interviews because of people being out of the office.

this could mean any number of things.
1) they may still have interviews to conduct, it is the holiday season, so scheduling interviews can be tough around this time.
2) Maybe they already filled the position, most companies contact you only if you are being offered the position.
3) Maybe they are just waiting for the Holidays to pass before submitting an offer to you.
If you really want answers, it never hurts to call them for an update, if nothing else, it lets them know you are really interested in the position.

It took me 3 months until I found out that I was hired!
You should definitely call the person that interviewed you, so that you don't go off "the radar". But of course, don't just wait it out for this one company....keep the job hunting going. Who knows, you may find something with more pay along the way!
Good luck!

whenever you go for an interview you should ask how long till i here back from you. i would say give them an entire work week and them call them on the following Monday. you should show that you are interested in the job and that you are driven.

call or e-mail the person you interviewed with. Check the card they gave you for e-mail or get a card from someone at the company, they usually follow the same email formats throughout the company

I would call them as a follow up on your interview to see if they have made any decisions. Best of luck.
