Yes - I miss Rose too. My son asked if she was ever coming back and I said probably not. Sad.

David Tennant seems to be the best Dr Who ever - and I grew up watching John Pertwee and Tom Baker.

The 2006 Christmas episode was fantastic - did miss Rose though.
Oh for a day when you are driving on the M25 and the TARDIS pulls up next to you - I thought it was brilliant.

I was at work, when I watched it - and my work mates all thought it was very well done - at least it made sense.

I totally love Torchwood as well.
Apparently The Doctor is meant to show up on one of the last episodes - but I doubt it myself

I agree that this years Christmas TV was poor - but then when isn't it???

I don't think it is worth all the type. The epidodes I've seen aren't all that great. I think the fact that it has been on so long and become so big has added to the hype, not the actual show, characters or plots.

I missed it but having read these reports I haven't missed much at all. Tonight on channel 5, there is a lecture on how to make the roundest football. So festive and so exciting, I am wetting myself in anticipation. Merry boring Christmas!.

Not really, no. But better than nothing.
I thought there was excessive use of the sonic screwdriver.
The spiderwoman was completely ridiculous.
We should have seen thebabies.
Climbing the ladder and coming back was out of character.
The robots were the worst in history.
Catherine Tate didn't get bovvered enough.

I'd much rather see Donna as his assistant.

It was quite good but not worth the hyper becouse the hype was soo much. I suppose with rose tayler dyying we needed comedy and thtas where catherine tate cam ein. Catherine Tate definatly made a difference. Docter who was still good, i disagree with the ppl who think it dies in the eighties. children love this sort of thing and they enjoy it a lot and so do adults. i know my mum does.

It was great Christmas Day telly, and casting Catherine Tate was a touch of sheer, unadulterated genius, let alone putting her in a Wedding dress (with "no pockets"). Excellent storyline, and what a spider. Terrifyingly terrific. Funny. Captivating. Classic Dr. WHO and bang up-to-date graphics, concepts and science fiction.

i found it interesting when i was 9 year old. i tried to watch it about a year ago and found it just seeming to run on, and on. it one of those shows either one likes its or changes the channel immediately, its not designed to be taken in bits from time to time.
