I want to know what color candle......?

Question

You know how people burn candles for protection and stuff? Well what candles stand for what? I want to know details and everything. And also a complete list of the colors and their meanings. Thank you.

I think you will find varied answers from different tradtiions. Here's what I use:

White for protection
Red for love
Pink for peace
Green for money
Yellow for wisdom
Blue for communication
Orange for joy

I have only ever heard black and brown candles for negative purposes - brown can injure and black for removal - but I don't use these. I mostly use White, Red and Green.

Esay enough to answer. Get the book call Wicca Spellbook by Dunwich. It cost like $12 and has the colors and what they mean and what they are used for. If nothing else default to a white candle, it can take the place of any color in a pinch. Make sure you also have the right tools and oils ect that you will need. Making oils is easy too. All you need is the herb or herbs and olive oil and let them soak in the oil for a few days.

purple-healing
black-banishment(like getting rid of a bad habit)

If you were to buy a beginning Wicca book it would explain all of this to you, If I were to try the list would be way to long.

of negative energy (1st Chakra).

Sea Green - Emotional healing and protection, calming (4th Chakra).

Green - Healing, money, prosperity,luck, fertility (4th Chakra).

Pink - Emotional love, friendships, affection, harmony (4th Chakra).

White - Protection, peace, purity, truth (can be substituted for any other color)(7th Chakra).

Turquoise - Awareness, meditation, moon, creativity (5th Chakra).

Purple - Spirituality, wisdom, psychic awareness (6th and 7th Chakra).

Blue - Healing, Meditation,
tranquility, forgiveness(5th Chakra).

Lavender - Intuition, dignity, spiritual sheild (6th Chakra).

Orange - Strength, authority, attraction, joy, success (2nd Chakra).

Yellow - Clairvoyance, learning, mind communication (3rd Chakra).

Peach - Gentle strength and joy (2nd Chakra).
