I have a professional job and they let me wear bandaids but I was wondering if I can just take it out during the day and put it back in at night. I've had it done for almost 2 years.

My piercer says that any piercing can close up very quickly no matter how long you have had it. I know that is not encouraging, but that is what my particular professional told me.

However, I do know a lot of people who just take out their various piercings while at work and slip them back in everyday afterwards. The only thing I can honestly recommend is try it and see if you are okay with it possibly closing, if you can't bare the thought of not having it anymore or possibly having to have it redone, either stick with the bandaids during the day, or try it and take a few breaks throughout the day to make sure it is still open.

for my eyebrow ring i had the same problem, my office woudlnt let me wear it, however, they have clear "retainers" that you can slip in the hole while your at work and u cant really notice them, maybe give that a try ..i used them in my eyebrow and in my lip

also it should only take about 4 weeks for your piercings to heal. i usually wait 2 months just to be sure i dont mess anything up, and just make sure u clean it very well every day and move it around
