It twas the day before Xmas, and I was driving my van on an interstate when a station wagon started to pass me. I noticed that he had a Xmas tree tied down on his roof rack.
Just as he got beside me, I saw the tree take flight. It flew through the air until it landed in the grassy median. I saw his brake lights come on, and I wondered if he was going back for it and if there was anything to go back TO.
The next day I was on that same stretch of road, and there in the median, was that same Xmas tree (not in very good shape).
I guess he gave up on it.
I'm guessing he was either scrambling to find another tree or thinking about what he was going to tell his wife.

genuinely not genuine. i'm pagan and that i have also done countless analyze into the beginning of customs- I actually have under no circumstances study something of the form about Christmas timber, or as pagans call them xmas timber. some pagans, depending upon their custom, use the quarter days (xmas as new year) and some use bypass quarter (Samhain as new year) and some have a good time both quarter and bypass quarter severe days. in spite of everything the xmas tree symbolizes new existence interior the cycle of the year. We convey the golf eco-friendly into our properties to remind ourselves that even on the darkest day of the year (wintry climate solstice) the mild will go back and with it existence. there is an straightforward false impression about pagans having a each and every year sacrifice utilising a wicker guy. Supposedly a wide effigy of a guy is created from wicker and it really is full of animals and one guy and then burned to placed the existence decrease back into the land. This lie got here from Julius Cesar and has been shown to be a delusion.

That is funny, but I feel bad for the guy who lost his tree. I thought you were going to say that you saw it the next day, but someone had decorated it. That would have been even funnier.
