Need info on boiling a doll to reposition limbs!?

For all those who know what OOAK means, please help me with some information on how hot the water needs to be to dunk the dolls in, for how long, and how much repositioning I can expect, please... Or links on how to do it, I would very much appreciate it!

bring the water to an almost boil, turn off the heat to the water, put the limb in one At time use a towel to position the limb as you wish. repeat until you get the desired positioning.

You should not boil the doll. Just put some hot water in a bowl or the sink and dunk the dolls limbs (one at a time) in, try ever few seconds to see if you can reposition the limbs.
