Your first period after having a baby is kind of weird. It was light like that for me, so that is probably what it is. For your sake I hope it is just your period... Having another baby that fast is very bad for your body.

It is probably just some irregularity...I breastfed also & my period returned 8 wks post partum, but was VERY irregular! I would caution you to use birth control or stop breastfeeding if you are wanting to conceive again so soon (although that is generally NOT a good idea!) because your body cannot handle nourishing a growing baby on the outside & a growing baby on the inside!!

I wouldn't worry too much about it...if you notice a decrease in your milk supply, then I would be concerned because it could be related to pregnancy...although there are also other factors involved there as well!!! JUST USE BIRTH CONTROL & AVOID THE PROBLEM ALTOGETHER!!!!

Exclusive breastfeeding is not a reliable birth control (same as with any other birth control methods) and there is a great chance that a woman can get pregnant even just after a few months from giving birth.

Or in the other hand, it could be your menstruation.

You can always check with pregnancy test first thing in the morning where in ur HCG is at higher concentration so that you will not end up guessing...

Three months post pardum and breastfeeding... If you are not on some kind of birth control, pregnancy can occur.

Its possible it you could be pregnant. Breast feeding is not a form of birth control like some may say on here. You will not get your period but you can get pregnant. You are still producing eggs and there is still a possibility. I know because I spoke with my teacher in a parenting/pregnancy class. See a doctor and use protection at this time

Your first period after pregnancy can be very strange. Are you using any kind of birth control? If not, you're most likely pregnant. The first few months after pregnancy is a VERY fertile time. Have you taken a test?

You could be pregnant. Breastfeeding is not very good birthcontrol.
