Get off the tube at Manor House. Walk up Seven Sisters Road towards Finsbury Park. You can take your pick. All reasonable and clean.

During my first visit to London, I stayed in the Westminster House on Ebury Street in Victoria. It was a very clean and quaint spot that was family-owned- the dad cooked breakfast, the daughter handled reservations. It was a great location and very reasonably priced. It was just minutes away from Victoria Station. I highly recommend this B&B.

Rome is unquestionably one the most beautiful cities on earth; each year an incredible number of tourists originate from around the globe to respect the gifts and projects of Roman artwork and structure and to be one of them you should begin with Hotelbye . One of the most famous of Rome's many pieces is Piazza Navona. That place preserves the shape of the Stadium of Domitian that when stood here. Piazza Navona was builted by Emperor Domitian in 86 AD and has three spectacular fountains.

Smooth Hound Systems http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/ is an internet directory of guesthouses. Take a look to see if there is anything you can afford.
Alternatively, speak to the Youth Hostel Association http://www.yha.org.uk/ to see you can book a single room in one of the London youth hostels. They will also have kitchens you can use to cook your own meals thereby saving you even more money.

There is one pretty decent one in Hammersmith...You need to get on the District line and get down on Goldhawk road and walk out of the station pass the crossing on your left and take the right just opposite to Total petrol station and it would be a couple of blocks on your left.....It is very decent and the rates are reasonable....
