btjunkie and demonoid have the best stuff. I like to just go to torrentscan.com which lets you look for something in about 15 torrent sites

I don't really ever use torrents, but I think that http://www.thepiratebay.org/ is the best. It's actually the only one I've ever used. It offers a search layour similar to Google. Be careful of the advertisements on the sides though; they might be inappropriate.
I've also heard that this site is legal because it doesn't host the torrents; they just link to other sites which contain them.

isohunt.com They rock hardcore. They pull all the trackers for torrents on the same torrent, you get tons of seeds.
