I've read articles slating the way he looks in the movie,saying he's just a big lizard,i personally think he looked good,and is'nt it a shame that they won't be making a sequel because i actually liked the film,say if some one like Stephen Spielberg was to direct it,plus the special effects would be even better!!!!!!!

'Godzilla movies' have NEVER been successful in America. Nothing to do with director, creature, story or effects. The truth is, us Americans just don't get Godzilla. We don't feel anything personal with Godzilla because we see Godzilla as a Japanese Icon and respect it as such. But we can't embrace it because of this. That's why there will be no sequel. Someone at some point will try again, as they do every few years, but we still won't get it. :-)

Go- zilla ! It was an entertaining trashy special effecty film. In fact its one of the best main stream 'pop' movies i know/ I think godzilla was a bit too big and no steven speilberg dosn't need to direct a sequel that guy does far too much.
