I have ripped a DVD and its output format is a .VOB i have played it on Quicktime Pro and no sound! any ideas??

Check your codecs, or try a different player, VLC player will probably do it. You can download codecs off net easy enough though. What are you doing rippin DVDs anyway, your avitar looks like a fed, a crooked fed obviously.

Be sure there's an 'AudioVTS' folder included with the others. Usually this folder will be completely empty but the .vob needs it to include the sound. good luck :-)

burn it to disc first.
Also, if it is quicktime basic you may not have the support for Vob. you will need pro to get the correct codecs
