Just be honest and forthright. Eventually you will tell them anyway. Why not now? Who knows, they could already know.
A sense of relief will wash over you afterward.
Good luck! :)

If they are truly your friends then they wouldn't care if you are gay. Just tell them you hope they will not get mad and hope to stay friends but you are gay and that's they way it's gonna be if you choose. Now some people need a little time to adjust to the fact of your sexuality. Just give them space and your true friends will come around. And you never know they've might have sensed you are gay, but just waiting for you to officially confirm it.

When my best friend came out of the closet....He gave me this whole speech about going to a shrink and being told he should come out....The he just got to the point : He just told me he's gay and been that way since he was 12 yrs old. He was afraid to lose my friendship because I am a Christian. I didn't care. That was 10 yrs ago and we are still friends. My point, be brief and if they are truly your friends, and they really care about you, they will respect your lifestyle choice and you will still be their friend. Good Luck!

if they are your true friends, they will accept you as you are, and if they are your really good freinds they probably know already... It will ebd up biging more confterble for you and for themin the long run.

My best friend told me he was gay a year ago and we are better friends now, and he's more ope than ever, it's soo much better because he lost the feeling of hiding and lying to me all the time, and i love and respect him more for telling me.

i'm not gay so idk...
but if ur true to urself and if there true friends and they luv u for who you are they should understand. Just bring it up in a conversation. If they don't understand they aren't ur real friends then just find new ones ok.!
Good Luck!

The words you are saying are going to be the same and I doubt how you tell them will make a difference on their reaction to the news so just sit them down and tell them.

You need to come out of the closet for yourself and those who accept you are the ones you can reaaly call friends...

its not their concern, no need to be announcing your sexuality to the world, unless you feel the need. If anyone asks, the response is, "why do feel you want to know?"
