and yes the files that I download are DVD-R. I'm not talking about uploading them; I'm talking about downloading them from a torrents website where another person allows me to download the dvd-r file

If their IFO,s, VOB, and others you will need a dvd software,
program, like powerdvd, windvd etc.
I dont know what the extentions your are working with.
