No. We stay within the budget we set and do not over-spend. We do not like to be in debt and will not go there for Christmas or any other holiday.

I'm not penniless. We budget and only spend what we can afford. I always spend a little too much on my husband, but he really is worth it.

And the New Year's Eve expenses are sky rocketing. Where I live, a night in the town costs me an entire month's fund for new clothes!! (and I buy a lot of clothes!).

I don't really like pennies. I think we should round everything to the nearest nickel. And how about a dollar coin that isn't the same size as a quarter.
