Are you old enough that you are out in the world living your own life? Does this black man love you? If it's yes to both of these then don't let your parents spoil your love.

Are you so certain that it's race that his parents don't approve of or the fact that he's in a same-sex relationship? See, this racial thing will always be the root of society's ill towards one another...we'll never get beyond that, regardless of what tolerances are (superficially) shown.

Until and/or unless you two put this race issue as far away as you possibly can (which isn't going to be far, honestly), you won't be able to find resolve with any other issues...

Parents rarely approve of anyone but you know who you love and where you stand in this relationship. You can't try and convince them forever , they have to see the true love and hopefully it grow on them in time.

If you're over 18, do what you want. Your parents will come around eventually--if they really love you.
