Its about time we had one. Many other countries have had - or currently have - female leaders and those countries are doing quite well. Isn't it time for the US to realize that women can not only run major corporations, but the country? And considering the mess the current male president has gotten this country into, surely a woman could do better!! Sadly, when it comes to electing leaders, this country is still stuck in the 19th century. And, with all the good old boys and rednecks we have, if you want to be elected, you have to be a rich, white male. A woman doesn't stand a chance. That is a sad commentary on the state of this country and our times.

Gender isn't an issue, or at least it shouldn't be. Too many people in this country focus on the unimportant issues, i.e. Gay marriage etc.... if gender is an issue, wow are we a backwards country!
Are we all so stupid that we cant remember President Marcos of the Philippines? A strong woman, who led a third world nation that actually has elections less corrupt than our own.

Look at the policies, intellect, wisdom and compassion for the average American, and take whatever gender comes with it. Sadly we have an almost a perfect VACCUUM of the above now. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

No! Not to disrespect women but they have ruined the Philippines with far worst corruption than Marcos. Lady President Aquino and current Lady President Arroyo have literally destroyed my once beautiful country. I don't want that to happen to this great nation.

Who cares the gender as long as they do the right things? I don't happen to want Hilary, but female isn't an issue.

I could vote for ANY woman but Hillary. The Dems will lose for sure if she is the nominee.
