Those of you who think Muslims are terrorists/murderers/ect. or Islam is a violent religon that teaches it's follower's to slaughter non believers --

Actual answer, I don't know anyone who thinks that. I do know those who think that while all Muslims are definitely not terrorists, all terrorists are Muslims, however (which probably isn't true, either.)
I think it makes an impact when the MUSLIM community comes out against terrorism.
We have a ton of Muslims in the US, and they've lived here forever without blowing things up. We just elected one to Congress, and despite some nonsense about 'should he be allowed to be sworn in on the Quran [yes he should be allowed]', no one thinks it is a big deal, frankly.

I believe that is is true what you say and that only a fraction of Muslims are terrorists. The question I have for those who are peaceful and seeking to live in harmony with the rest of the non-muslim world, where are the outcries, the protests in the streets against the terrorists groups in America? Why is there such silence? You can organize that - that will convince those you seek to convince.

All wars historically, inquisitions, tortures, human rights violations have been under the name of religion. It's been used as a cause, to carry out their missions whether it's right or wrongs. I need to be corrected , who were the first people who conducted terror on people long before muslim religion was known. What do we call those, whats been going on between in Europe, Balfast, Ireland for the last centuries? It even exist in the organized crime world everywhere. After they kill they make confessions for forgiveness, and they are humanly forgiven by earthly standards.

Not all Muslims are terrorists. Most are very good people. But I have never seen a Muslim decrying what happen 9/11. The news is full of Immars and Ayatollahs declaring fatahs against cartoonists and others who speak against Islam, But never do they declare fatahs against terrorists that bomb weddings and Mosques. Muslims are good people but have an image problem because their silence about violence is viewed as acceptance.

YES... as a community...SPEAK OUT... LOUD AND CLEAR AGAINST THE TERRORISTS... I have NOT heard this happen yet. THAT would help convince people that not all Muslims are terrorists. But we NEVER hear any condemnation of these acts. WHY?

people dont really understand muslims and that its composed of people who believe in peace and brotherhood. you could educate those about the culture and what it stands for. another thing is to get the media to see it as well since they are good at hyping things up
