Idk If there is Just One, In the height of his career Jordan was certainly an international name, Tiger Woods definately is, Beckham is known by everybody everywhere else and some people here in the U.S. but If I had to pick just one I would guess Lance Armstrong because he competes in the most common international event (i think i dont know how the Eurpean champions league stuff works in soccer) plus hes got that feel good comeback story everybody loves with his battle with cancer.

Babe Ruth. He played baseball over 92 years ago and yet kids 10 years old know who he is. Even in the UK. Babe Ruth is and always will be a household name.
The guy next to me doesn't know who Beckham is. Any chance people will remember who Beckham is 92 years from now?

I know I see David Beckham in the news a lot. I imagine there would be a lot of people in the world that would recognize his name and who he is.
