Is this information stored on my computer somewhere?

I'm not sure that I understand the question clearly, but if you are looking for the user name (and password) for your home router, and it isn't the default (usually user=admin, password=admin) and you can't find the person who set it up, your only choice is to reset your router to factory default and set your network up again. The manual for your router (usually available online also) will tell you how to reset the router.

If you didn't set it up you need to get that info from whomever did set it up. In the mean time you can try using the word admin.
you will still need the password wont you? You an try admin on that too.
