ipod trouble?

ok i just got my ipod nano yesterday and for some reason the screen is frozen i have tried pushing all the buttons help me!!!!!!!!!

you 1st download the ipod software at
www.apple.com/support

then you download itunes

then connect your ipod to the computer and it will unfreeze

triger the hold button that click the top and middle button!
