A cast-iron fireplace. We're in a log cabin in the woods for Christmas (one complete with satellite TV and phone... not exactly roughing it :) The flames are leaping cheerfully behind the grate... my cinnamon coffee is heaven, and all seems right with the world. *happy content peaceful sigh*

my cat curled up next to me on a chair I especially had to place besides me because he likes being close to me whenever I'm in front of my pc and if he wouldn't have his own chair he'd be on my desk - on top of the keyboard - or on my lap where I'd have to hold him with one hand every few minutes because he's quite "big"... (ahemm) and tends to slip off when he falls asleep only to then hooks his claws into ME. lol
