there is not a memory card slot as there is in the psx psone and ps2 there is memory card slots in it but they are for cameras and mp3 player memory cards how do i get them on there from my old ps2 memory cards ,what do i need, where do i get it

There is an adaptor that will enable you to put your memory cards in and connect it to the PS3.
From what I've read it will move your files to the internal harddrive, so you won't even need the adaptor after you initally plug it in.
Too bad you can't just rent one :)

I do not own a PS3, so all my information comes from reading specs of the system and other online content.
