its such a inconvenience to stand around for twice as long to see it give u the last 30 cents worth of gas. Some stations are like this and some cut off 7 cents then go slow. either way do you see it as a inconvenience?

Its automatice the teller doesnt do the cut off. And i sometimes think that they do it on purpose to have inpatient people leave and that money is all profit.

I think it's a scheme to get impatient people to leave before they get all that they paid for. Then the station makes more money than if you wait around for it to finish!!

You prepaid, right? That's how it was the other day when I prepaid. They started slowing down at about 30 cents, like you said, before the cutoff amount. It's a little inconvenient.

I believe it's so that ther is no overflowing.
Little tid bit: Your more likely to get your moneys worth if you go when it's cold out. For example: winter of course whenever. But when it's summer or spring, early in the morning, or late at night. The particles are closer together when it's cool out. So you get more for your money.

OPEC just wants to see how much more crap you'll take off of them. It's enough of an insult to pay 5 times what it's worth to begin with, but they really enjoy making you wait for it too.

Because the old guy inside the pump has poor reflexes so he starts cutting it off early so you don't get any free.

30 seconds is't bad. You have to have patients in life. It could be worse.
