I'm just wondering. I like taking a bath in like effin boiling water. But people say its bad for your skin. But I feel gross if I take a bath in luke-warm water.

What's the most common or the correct temperature?

Warm water is always better than hot. Cold water is also fine, since it promotes good blood circulation in the body.

I love hot water too, but I got to admit, its really not good for your skin. If you still can't stop taking really hot baths, just buy yourself the most moisturizing body lotion for dry skin and slather it onto your skin right after your bath/shower.

Happy Showering. :-)

Luke warm water is the best. Rallyhot water damages skin, makes it very dry nd if you lve in a cold weather region, its very bad. My sister had eczema once and the doctor told her the skin also loses is elasticity if one uses very hot water. People with blood pressure also shouldn't use hot water as it raises the pressure level when extremelyhot water is used. so all in all, luke warm water is ideal.

I have continually joked that the temperature of water that my son prefers is 'nondescript'. it isn't even luke warmth, extra like the temperature of the air. I discovered this the difficult way with a lot of screaming because the water replaced into too warm. basically save in options, do not imagine about the way you basically like the water once you practice a bath for the toddler. My son loved water that replaced into infrequently even warmth. If in any respect a chance, positioned the toddler's towel interior the dryer so as that that is massive and heat for him/her =)

A good bath temp is about 95-100 degrees, no more than 105. Anything higher could be damaging to your skin. Temps below 90 usually just don't feel right, since it is below your body temp.

Boiling water damages nerve endings, so what are you accomplishing by doint it, other than injuring yourself? Warm water is fine, but it should not scald you. A good temperature for a bath would be 85F-90F degrees, not more.

Putting a moisturizer in the tub will help with that. It does dry your skin out. Hot water heater manufactures help control the temps with scald guards put in place on your hot water heaters.
